Amsterdam Shopping

What heaven it was to find the market near to CentreBaum... like how East Street used to be in the better days before it went downhill. An abundance of boots, clothes, watches, handbags, underwear, cosmetics and traditional stuff too. A really lively market, where you could get just about anything for a very decent bartered price. Of course my partner had already bought an abundance of things for me, so we browsed only and decided to come back to that market and those shops later in the week. In fact there are several great shopping areas in Amsterdam, of which we only explored this one, so I always have another excuse to go back to this city.

On returning to the market, Tuesday, I managed to buy 2 pairs of boots, 2 pairs of shoes, a dress, skirt, several tops, some jewellery and a few other bits.... It was SUPERB! Forgot to buy presents and postcards - does that make me shallow?
