Its kind of common courtesy on email to say thanks or let me know that you have received my email to you - not with the marketting companies but certainly with any friends or family - so that they know u received it and will continue the email conversation.... (SO PLEASE SEND A REPLY - EVEN IF BRIEF LIKE "I GOT IT")

Hello there, I stumbled across your blog here while doing some research on Marseille for a book I am writing. Would you mind terribly if I asked you a few questions about the city, I am desperately seeking information and it is really important to me to portray the city accurately. I don't quite have the funds to visit so my nest best bet is to try and find an ex-pat living there :-) Thanks in advance

Opulently I agree but I dream the brief should have more info then it has.
I want not concur on it. I regard as warm-hearted post. Especially the title attracted me to study the intact story.
